Cara Glass Insert Eco Stove

The Cara Glass Insert is contemporary take on our classic Cara Insert with its black enamel steel and glass. The Cara Glass has the same capability for warmth and efficiency of a stove with the appearance of an open fire.

The Cara Glass will burn smokeless fuel, dry wood, coal, anthracite and seasoned peat briquettes.

Ecodesign Stoves

Ecodesign is the European-wide programme to lower emissions to improve air quality from a range of appliances that use energy including stoves. Ecodesign labelling came into force 1st January 2022 and applies to both wood burning and solid fuel stoves.

The Ecodesign Directive Covers: Minimum efficiency rating of 75% for stoves, Reduction of CO (Carbon monoxide) –88%, New limit for emissions of NOx, Introduction in requirements for Particulate matter and organic gaseous compounds

All our Stanley and Bilberry Solid Fuel, Wood, Pellet and Gas stoves and inserts are Ecodesign certified.

Multi Fuel Stove

• Burns anthracite, coal, smokeless fuel, seasoned peat briquettes and dried wood  – Do not use high moisture content fuels as they will affect performance & damage the unit. Our grates are made from high chromium which are able to withstand higher temperatures from smokeless coal.

Energy Labels

• From the 1st January 2018 all solid fuel and wood burning room only and room and central heating freestanding and insert stoves must be sold with a printed label which shows their heat output and energy efficiency index. Note outputs listed on energy labels for our Stanley stoves are nominal values whereas as Stanley stoves outputs shown on our website, brochures and point of sale are max outputs.
